NOTE that the time displayed for you when you check this tournament is the correct time for your time zone, assuming you have it correctly set on your device.

GENERAL RULES:

Single Stage
Double Elimination

Each participant will be required to check-in at http://us20.chatzy.com/SmashBros and on this site! Winner of each round of a match can ban 2 legal stages. Then the loser gets to counterpick with a stage that wasn't banned, and the next match is played on that stage. The stages will be usable again after each set.

In the event of a Bowser Jr. Teleport glitch, Pac-Man Hydrant glitch, or any other game changing glitch, the match will restart. In the event of extreme lag, please reset your router and fix anything that may be the problem, then the match will restart with about the same amount of stocks before the lag occurred. If it continues, we'll just have to deal with it, sorry.

You are allowed to end your match ONLY if you notice that the match is not following any of these rules.

Continuous violations in any of these rules will result in a forfeit.

MATCH RULES:

Customs: ON (NO EQUIPMENT)
Items: OFF
Stocks: 3
Timer: 8 minutes
Best of 3 (Finals and Grand Finals Best of 5)

The starter stage will be decided by striking. The lowest seed will strike first (i.e. seed 25 would strike before seed 7. The lower seed will strike one stage, then the higher seed will strike 2, then lower seed strikes 1 again.

If Final Destination is banned, all omega stages are, too.

Match-ups are not official until tourney time. Many people usually sign up for my tournaments, and the seeds are shuffled before we start.

When you come into the chatzy room, please make your name similar to the name you signed up as! The site is the one deciding the seeds and brackets, NOT ME.

I apologize to anyone from here who signed up a few weeks ago. My internet bill wasn't paid. I will hold this tournament this Saturday with an amiibo as a prize to make up for the disappointment.

Bump. I just edited the rules so it would fit smashdomain's ruleset. That means I'm afraid we can't do Slyloft, Wuhu Island or even Kongo Jungle.

Edit: Nevermind. I missed another rule they have. This is an outside tourney, so I'm reverting to the original settings.
