While Nintendo has put out some of the most memorable series and games of all time; it should be properly noted that a lot of their games are also faintly remembered.

So why not remember them? I guess this thread is about discussing our favorite obscure parts of Nintendo's library.

To be honest, one of my favorite Nintendo games, and games as a whole is StarTropics on the NES. Which hasn't gotten any light from Nintendo at ALL since the second games release. Which really makes me sad.

I'd especially love to see Mike Jones in Smash.

Not Nintendo-made, but Knights of the Round is probably my favorite (excluding Chrono Trigger) SNES game and I don't hear all that much about it.

My favorite part about the SNES/NES eras is that I can just go idly browse a list of games and find something I've never heard of that ends up being really cool.

Truth is binary, not a continuum.
^ Knights of the Round, I approve.

Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen (SNES) and Person of Lordly Caliber (N64) are excellent, although pretty niche.

Let's also not forget Breath of Fire and Breath of Fire 2. I also love BoF3, but that's on PS1.
