Here is the latest update, twitters, and map on Ventura County’s Guiberson Fire started near Fillmore and heading towards Moorpark. The Guiberson Fire is still burning Wednesday morning following a day of 100 degree temps and 54 mph winds.
An evacuation center has been set up at Goebel Senior Center, 1385 E. Janss Rd., Thousand Oaks. Large animals can be evacuated to the Ventura County Fairgrounds. Small animals can go Animal Regulation in Simi Valley.
The following Road Closures are in effect Wednesday just after midnight:
More than 600 firefighters are battling a fire that started south of Fillmore and is burning towards Moorpark. The fire is currently at 8,500 acres and growing. The fire is currently 10 percent contained. Three firefighters have sustained minor injuries. Additional firefighters, air tankers, helicopters, dozers and other resources have been ordered.

New wildfires threatened homes in Southern California on Tuesday as hot and dry Santa Ana winds turned the region into a tinderbox.
The Guiberson Fire started at about 10:30 a.m. The fast-moving blaze originated near the 126 Freeway, just east of Fillmore and was burning toward Moorpark . Tuesday night Ventura County Fire Officials warned people living near the Guiberson burn area to be vigilant overnight due to predicted fierce winds.
