First off, if you didn't know, Fox can approach can approach with Uair. Got it? Good. Let's get started.

Fox's fast falling Uair can seem pretty difficult to perform at first for a multitude of reasons when you first attempt to do so. Thankfully, I have found a faster, easier method to initiate this approach. (This most likely will seem obvious to anyone who's been playing since Melee, but whatever. Also, your second joystick must be assigned to Attack or Smash Attack for this to work properly.)

-Jump > Flick Left Joystick Down & Right Joystick Up at the same time
-Short-Hop> Flick Right Joystick Up

That is literally it. Too hard for you?

Because Fox falls insanely fast in this game, this "Combo" comes out very fast when done right, making it difficult to punish. Don't overuse it, though, you can still be read and punished if you miss due to end lag.

Applications:Approach mixups, combo setups, kill setups, raw kills*.
Because of end lag, I don't recommend you do this at lower percents. It does become safer to perform generally around 40%+ due to the increased knockback and hitstun. This is best used against big/mid-sized characters. Trying to do this against small characters (Pikachu, Kirby etc.) is about as fun as eating your own hand (And just as useful, too). Character weight has no effect on this, you can still style on Rosalina and Mewtwo

*If you actually land a raw kill with this, you are officially the sexiest Fox main in the world.

.......... There's lag on landing with Uair like that, you're setting yourself up for free punishment.
There's not too much lag on it, not to mention they'll be above you in hitstun. Just don't do it at lower percents; that's the only point I can actually see you getting punished for this.
Edited post to include this info.

You don't get it do you, this is easy shield-able, calling it an approach option is a load of bull.
