More characters, maybe 2?

Um... why can't they just add more space? Wtf... I'm confused by your logic.
edit : I mean before there was only 1 row of newcomers... now there's two.. why not three? or a fourth for veterans? I don't understand this logic at all.

WOW... okay, this is a new one. The spaces do not have anything to do with missing characters. When we only had 7 veteran characters announced, was it safe to assume that we would only have 8? No, because we got more. The spaces are only there because the grid in which it's organized is simply by 4s.

Well meaning, but overlooked a few details. The rows have been added as time goes on, the spots you can highlight in the incomplete rows are filled in before they start a new row. Two and a half months, eight to ten weeks, if they keep up the one per week pattern there's a minimum of 8-10 more characters coming new or old. Or, they can surge more out right before the release as they just might.
14 starting characters in Melee, 11 returning characters so far. Semi-confirmed is Ness and Falcon, Ice Climbers might be out. Getting them out of the way, that's 5-8 new starting characters they'll give us. Expect a starting roster around thirty or so, the hidden characters will get into the forties easily, keeping it under fifty.
Thinking very pessimistically, they give out five newcomers. That's absolute worst scenario, everything has gone to filler. Even at worst, five newcomers on the way isn't that bad. However, logically, there's reasoning to expect more characters around the eight-ten mark, possibly with even Ice Climbers coming back for a full returning roster.

This thread fails. They can just add more rows. Do you think they started out with space for four rows? No.. it had one row and once that was filled they created a second row. *facepalm*

Or the "?" marks you show are a RANDOM CHARACTER selection spot? CONFIRMEDI saw this before, but now I'm gonna post about it....
Based on logic, there will only be information released on two more characters before the release of brawl...

Also, keep in mind that they are probably going to add all the characters in the end. Probably after the game comes out.

well i think this logic is right cuz that if two more characters are added then its an even number of characters 2 start out with, 20. they r not going 2 reveal secret characters until the game is released. melee has 15 to start out as

OK...It took me quite a while to decipher that post, but what does having an even amount of characters to start off with have to do with anything? There could be 19, 21, or 23 starters, it doesn't have to be even. ¬¬
And the TC's logic indeed fails.

You think Sakurai couldn't do that? Not to mention as mentioned already, if your logic was correct earlier all the returning characters would be Mario, Pika, Kirby and Link.
