I was just wondering how viable moonwalking is as a movement option because Falcon can dash dance into one I feel like there is some use to it. Perhaps as a slower Dash forward WD back or something I don't, I just think this tech is kind of unexplored and only used for style

watch mango sets vs armada. he uses it to edge guard very often as fox. it's pretty much the same idea with falcon but you can cover a much further distance.

using it to edge guard is the most common situation it's useful for. you can feint going off stage and halt your backwards momentum or you can fly off, or you can fly off and adjust your spacing with jumps or directional influence. so it builds in a lot of options if you have time to set it up.

it's good and there's a weird stigma attached to it. if you do it bad, it's bad. if you do it at the right times it's good like anything else lol. smashers think so binary

Oh well yeah I've seen it used that way a few times but I meant like as a true movement options in situations like Dash Dancing and WD.

And after going in the lab for a bit reading rolls to get a grab from a single moonwalk seems like something alright maybe even for a techchase or if they miss a tech you can dash towards to bait the roll behind, moonwalk back and grab
