Month-Weekly? CA.

Hai, guys ! Who would be up to come at my place in montreal (Canada) once or 2 a month for some melee/smash64 time? I could take up to 10 people and we could hold some tournaments once in a while, majorly to have fun, we could have a entry fee of 5$ or something.

I thought it'd be a good idea, but I don't know how many people could come over...I'd just like to know if it's worth it.

We could decide over a day to put this on so people don't get confuse. I was thinking a saturday since most of us have school, it leaves the one that lives farther to maybe stay in montreal and go back the day after.


Anyway, just post here if you think you'd be up for it !

I live in MTL and so do my brothers in law who play ssb64. One is only 10 years old though, but hes good at ssb64 in like an intermediate semi advanced way, he tries to z cancel and stuff that I showed him and his older brother. His older brother didnt know about advanced techs or DI or anything but I showed him and he plays a mean jigglypuff/falcon/samus.

On console Im pretty good with jigglypuff/falcon and random chars. I cant come all the time though my child will be born this month. So ill be busy for a bit, but yeah theres ppl out there still for ssb64 in mtl!

I wont be able to offer housing with the new baby and all but I wish you the best, chances are someone will house you

Hmm, I guess we could figure out something in advance so that it doesn't get to the point where you actually got nowhere to go, lol. But, yeah with a few days before of organisation I think it'd be okay.



So, what would be a good date for you people to start off our first 64/melee monthly?

If I see that people are really interested I might put it to bi-weeklies or tri-weeklies.

Is this still going down at any point? I can come to Montreal one weekend with some friends and split hotel costs with them if needed, in case there's nowhere for me to stay. I'd be the only one going to play smash though haha... then it would be party time at night
