Players alternate choosing a stage to "eliminate" from the list of available stages, starting with the player with the controller slot closest to #1. The last stage remaining is used for the first round of the set.

Additional Game Rules & Clarifications
-----------------------------------------------
* Finals in both the Primary and the Elimination Brackets will be "Best of Five" games.

* Grand Finals will be "Best of Five", with the player coming from Elimination Bracket needing to win two Sets to take first place.

* In case of time-out, the winner is the player with the most stock. In case of tied stock, the winner is determined by lowest damage percent. If players are eliminated at the same time (such as with Suicide attacks), or the damage percent is equal, Sudden Death is played normally as a tie-breaker

* LEDGE GRAB:NO MORE THEN 30 LEDGE GRABS IN A MATCH.
* Excessive stalling is prohibited and will be dealt with by a referee's decision. (NO INFINITE DIMENSIONAL CAPE)

* In case of technical problems (e.g. power outage) the round will be replayed, do not start from damage percent or stock lost.

*In the event a match ends via a suicide (Kirby, Bowser, DDD, etc) the winner of that match will be whoever the game says won

*Standing Infinites banned and (i.e. DDD on Mario ect ), IC's chain throws allowed.
