For Awhile people thought Monster Hunter wont happen. I truly am starting to feel its happening very soon.
1. A new game is happening next year.
2. The Mii is ofcourse still floating around so he/she hasnt been axed yet.
3. Nintendo has been making additions to the roster that tie into marketing often and Monster Hunter Rise is going to be a huge push for the IP on the switch this time around.
4. Sephiroth proved they will add fighters that already have content in the game this pass.
5. Lastly now we have another character to be announced probably around the time Monster Hunter Rise is releasing.
How do you guys feel about the chances of Hunter now?
I personally Feel the playstyle for the hunter will be the classic giant greatsword as the choice of weapon. The specials can focus around the items and traps. Imagine setting a pitfall to bury players and tossing flash bombs to stun them.
