MoneyMatch Scamming?

So lets say hypothetically I went to a tournament and there were open TV's and I went to go play friendlies with a random person and acted like I was brand new to the game and couldn't short hop/wavedash and didn't know all the abilities then asked to money match and they agree then completely go all out and **** them, can they say "no I'm not paying you, you scammer"

Well you can't force the person to give you the money but if they do something like that nobody will ever money match them again

Well if whoever you asked had seen you play that would throw up all kinds of red flags imo. New players don't go around betting money vs vets. If they haden't seen you play then their just taking their chances/ are confident in their skills.

Either way its their fault, and unless you are well known I doubt there will be any ramifications at all. And if they didn't pay you, they would be the ones getting a rep for not paying out, and they would likely lose out on being able to MM.

and it would look bad on you if your a known player but worse on them
if they go back on their word on agreeing to a Money Match
