I was messing around with Shulk's stance switching for a little bit tonight and figured I'd share my notes. These are in no particular order, just stuff I thought would be interesting about the stance changes. Enjoy.

- The stances always rotate in the same order: Jump-> Speed -> Shield-> Buster-> Smash
- Press B three times while in any of the stances to cancel out of it.
- After cancelling a stance, the roulette will return back to jump.
-Each stance lasts 16 (give or take +-.10ms), with a cooldown of about 10.5
- You can change the icons as fast as you can push the button, there's no observable limit at the time.
-Buster Stance adds 2-3% to all of Shulk's tilts, and 4% to his full jab combo.
-Smash Stance seems to lower Shulk's damage on his tilts/jabs MORE than Shield Stance. (Full jab combo did 10% with no stance, 7% with Shield, 5% with Smash)
-I'd like to run tests on damage taken/knockback taken on shield stance, but I can't control the environment since the player movement option is gone from training mode. :(

Edit:
- Shulk will do an animation after a stance is locked in. If you are in the middle of another attack or movement you the animation won't occur. HOWEVER you can wavebounce the stance change animations by tilting the stick slightly against your momentum while in the air.

I'll edit in/post more as I go along. If anyone else can contribute actual data that would be helpful. Good luck!

I thought to cancel a stance you could just press :GCB: twice & cancel it, I can be wrong though. Oh & there's an actual data thread for the stances damage taken, damage increase, & weight.

Oh thanks for that link, that's way more in depth than I could pull off. I'll just take what's not on there and post it in that thread. Guess I'll ask someone to close this then. :p
