Mods with new patches

So now that the patch 1.16 has been released I'm wondering, for anyone whom had installed/created mods themselves, if your mods survived the trip through the patches.

I've been wanting mods for a while now but do not want to risk losing them to patched, so if anyone has the answer please let me know.

Mods are fine. Nintendo can't patch out mods unless it's a system firmware update or they literally rewrite the game's structure.

I've been 100% successful at making my very first texture hack work on update version 1.1.6. Exploits can only really be fixed up by hardware updates.

As for what my first hack is, here's a preview...

However, if you've dumped your Smash Wii U ISO before update version 1.1.6 got released, then you'll have to download the update materials first before you can continue modding.
