Miyu for Brawl... Why you ask, why not?

There is a lot of threads on characters who don't deserve to be in Brawl, but being insist on supporting them anyways. I decided to throw in a character not many have heard of.

Not many have probably heard of the SNES Star Fox sequel, mainly because it was canceled. A game that deserved to have been released, but was cast a sunder. None-the-less, it was an awesome game, and worth looking into.

The Game was the first to introduce the Star Wolf team, and also included two new allies to the Star Fox team: Miyu the Linx and Fay the Poodle.

Miyu is the character I want to focus on, with her more tom-boyish appearance and a will to fight, she has what it takes to be a a playable character. She deserves to be in the game, since her game was robbed from her, especially since it was complete when canceled. I know her chances are beyond uber fail, but it would still be awesome to have her in. Her chances might be improved if Nintendo actually decided to release the game on the Virtual Console.

So you know she is not gonna be in Brawl, you just want her in because you felt her game was robbed from her?
Yeah, basically, that and I think she would make for a great character. Defiantly better than some of the playable characters fighting wise.

Same chances as Ashley really. Doesn't hurt to post it :chuckle:
Actually she has a slightly better chance since she was actually released in a game, and the fact that her theme song is actually used in the game.
I much rather have Jimmy, Kat & Ana, or Dribble & Spitz in myself since they were from the original Wario Ware, or even Cricket if I was going into the newer ones.

Ashley isn't from a cancelled game FYI.
Doesn't change the fact their chances are about the same. Ashley had 0 support before her song was released. By that point, there is not enough time to get a character in from scratch.

Do you have to make every thread about Ashley? and Ashley is popular in Japan she has more chance than a cancelled character.
Every thread...? The only thread I have ever mentioned her in is that Elimination game. I just chose her because she is the most popular character that has 0% chance of being in. There are plenty of others I could have picked, she was just the easiest target.

It wasn't meant to make the thread about her >.> It was supposed to be a joke. Went over real well I see.

Looks like this thread got off-topic

Miyu would be a great fighter, her abilities about equal to Fox's, just no where near as popular, but many do want to see her in some form on the Wii, probably in the next Star Fox title or on a VC release

Well, for one, she has the a new type of Arwing that can transform into a mech fighter. Other than that she would basically have the same standard moves as Fox, seeing as they were both probably trained the same way.

Closest I ever got to SF2 was a beta. I guess it was ok..but I couldn't exactly grow attached to the characters when I didn't have a complete copy of game. I will say Miyu would not be as fast as Fox, would fight differently, but end up using the same standard issue blaster that every Star Fox member gets. She might even use a reflector because chances are shes recieved the same training as Fox and therefore is prone to using the same equipment.

I hated how Falco was a Fox clone. I would not like to see Miyu be another clone in a long line of crappy clones. She wouldn't be as big a clone as Falco, but her way of handling things wouldn't be all too different from Falco or Fox.

Cool thought, love the fact someone had the guts to mention SF2 here, but I will have to pass.

My mistake, mentioned the poodle instead of Miyu (God its been awhile)

Why the hell would Miyu a character from a game that was never and will never be released that will never return in a real official game be in Brawl?

I'd rather have Fay or Miyu than Krystal. Ugh, I wish that the developers added those two characters into Star Fox Command instead of the cliche/Mary-Sue/arbitrary characters Amanda and Lucy.

At least someone said it was a cool thought. I'm not saying she'll ever get in, but I still would want her in.

Yeah, me too, I'm not a fan of Falco much. I do hope Krystal gets in, and she is not a direct clone of Fox.

She would need her staff, I just hope they don't give her her crappy SF Command outfit, like they did with Fox ><... Fox has bigger ears.
She looks so much better in Adventure and Assault

*Shudders*

The Command outfit was terrible. Some people liked it on the basis of it being "space wear" and that it made Krystal look like a "proper" Star Fox member. That hideous look made me toss my cookies.

It was awful, and a hideous pink. Assault had her in space wear that actually looked good. Blue went with blue, no ugly pink Command outfit please.

I'm a little split between rather I would want her more in her Adventure or her Assault outfit.
