missing character speculation?

I personally love speculation and guessing and discussing speculation. so the topic of this thread is what you think the PMBR may do with the remaining characters not yet in? what do you hope they'll do? new moves/aesthetics? I'll start and just go down the list. feel free to agree or disagree.

Iceclimbers: I'm not really sure what to say about the king and queen of chaingrabbing, i haven't played them much and haven't seen much footage. but i think their specials could use some buffs, as well as their recovery.

samus: this is probably the most anticipated, i'm curious as to what they'll do with samus, she seems like a link scenario where she may only really need minor tweeks and maybe a new move, but i speak without experience of the character.

yoshi: projectile eating? yoshi island style eggs? what if yoshi could double jump cancel like ness and lucas?

olimar: the one i personally can't wait for. i love his style in brawl, and love playing him. i honestly think he'll do fine in a melee setting. i think he just needs some things repurposed for comboing. how sick would it be to throw a pikmin for coninuous damage and keep comboing so they can't shake the little bugger off till you mess up/ end the combo?
pulling pikmin types depends (or rather the odds are determined) by the floor your standing on, they could change this to be more controllable, but olimar can pluck pikmin so fast that it's not really a problem anyways.
also, whistle is probably gonna get its armor removed ;-;

kirby: no doubt the last character who will be added and one i have a really cool idea for i feel. i feel kirby's normals are pretty solid, and probably do need some fine tweaking and such. but the main change i'm looking at is his copy ability. this being that some of kirby's copy abilities just suck compared to the originals, and this is due to kirby's size. others however become deadly due to his multijump (mario/doc fireballs anyone?)
but what i'm thinking is what if he wasn't restricted to only using only neutral B moves? what if instead of falcon punch upon absorbing the captain he instead gained a kirby version of falcon kick? or if he gained peaches turnips instead of her counter? i think some sick stuff can be done this way. the only problem is it may be a little awkward for some moves to be mapped to neutral B. but i think this would open up alot more for the pink puffball if PMBR picked the moves right.

anywho, that's my 2 cents. let me know what you guys think, i'm curious to see what others think or wish for.

I'm pretty interested in seeing what they do with the ICs. With the work that has been done on the CPUs, making Nanna a level 9 when she is separated would be good for the character. Or making it where she uses side-b to recover or air dodges somewhat intelligently when trying to recover would make for a better character even if they are left completely the same (minus wobbling) as melee.

Wobbling shouldn't be left in as to solve the problem where it is banned in half the tournaments and legal in others. Maybe give them some more complex and harder to execute chains that are % or character based as compensation. Id like to see some 1 to 3 frame chains from a grab instead of just mashing A to a metronome in a players head.

I only just found out what was wobbling today and i gotta agree, i'd like to see them still retain grappling as an important part of their game. (i've taken a shining to grapplers in fighting games lately) i wouldn't even mind long complex chain grabs, the fact there's two controlled at once really allows for creativitey with nanna's slight lag.

so i kinda had this idea for samus, not sure how much this would help her. i heard she was good in melee, but still not quite top teir? correct me if i'm wrong. but any ways, i thought of this at work. what if her smashed, missle starts slow at firing, almost staying still, and then rapidly speeds up. i kinda thought of it this way in mind because i wasn't sure if samus could short hop fast fall the missles (i'm only familiar with vBrawl samus and i remember the launching time to be pretty slow...), this way, she can send one up top and one under, both relatively well spaced behind the other. just spitballin here.
