Look at the third picture in the update, look closely at the floors and structures, now look at the sixth picture and the floors and structures, they both have different themes. If this is old then please delete.

It seems that the themes and objects change depending on which background you pick.

Yeah, this has been noticed. It appears there are three different themes, each with a different background. With the first background, you get solid stone platforms, the second is ruin-like, and the third is metallic and futuristic.

I would hope there is an unlockable Mushroom Kingdom theme, as well...

I wouldn't be so sure there are more than three themes. None of the three we know are from video games, and feel very generic. There also isn't any room, nor evidence of a scroll bar, in the screen where you choose.

Anything can change...but I'm really not feeling it.

kinda noticed it too.

im hoping you get themed tile sets of levels you unlock..or have.

or it could be like Mario Vs. Donkeykong2 where you accomplish certain tasks to gain
new tile sets.
