Mine placement on stages

on FD i try to always place mines about the distance of rolling from edge get ups but on stages with platforms would it be more beneficial to place mines on platforms or more on the the bottom part of stages

I usually place mines right on the edge to cover get ups and ledge hopped aerials. I, as snake, cover the rolls and jumps myself.

Yeah I prefer it on the tips of stages to mess with people that can't sweetspot efficiently (be ready to fair spike since they'll almost definitely DI in) or to limit options, as Mischief said. The precise placement is really matchup specific, I think.
