For those masochistic enough to be interested in the god awful single player like me, I found something interesting.
Someone dumped the entirety of the game text, found this pastebin in another thread:

If you scroll about halfway through you'll find the milestones (or just ctrl-f milestones). Aside from your typical Collect X of Y or Battle X times milestones, there seem to be a couple that are kind of like extra challenges thrown in the game, most harder than the actual Challenges pertaining those modes. Unfortunately the actual number/score required for the milestone is replaced with <VAR> in the text dump. Doing some snooping around I managed to find some of these numbers. I'll share:
Achieved a high score of 100 in Rival Smash!
Defeated 300 enemies in Endless Smash!
Defeated 10 enemies in Cruel Smash!
Exploded 100 bombs in Target Blast.
Earned 300000 points in Target Blast.
Blew up 5000 targets and/or obstacles in Target Blast.
Broke 1000 blocks in Trophy Rush!
Broke 5000 blocks in Trophy Rush!
Achieved a Global Smash Power of 100000!
Achieved a score of 1000 in Home-Run Contest!
Aside from those, there's one which I still haven't been able to found the actual values for; if anyone has unlocked it please fill us in!
Obtained [VAR] trophies in Trophy Rush!
Also for those interested here are some milestones you might've missed since there's no challenge associated with them:
Collected every online profile icon! Pick your favorite!
Collected every single trophy! Thank you, and congrats!
Defeated every possible type of enemy in Smash Run!
Encountered every type of special event in Smash Run!
Fought in every type of Smash Run final battle!
(I don't know what's up with these smash run messages, I've played it like a hundred times already and find it really hard to believe I haven't done these 3)
Found [VAR] custom items! (In 100 increments from 100 to 1000. Git grindan)
Found every bonus effect for equipment! It's super effective! (Does anyone know how many of these there are?)
Unlocked all the cries of the Pokémon in Sounds.
Unlocked all of Kirby's copied voice clips in Sounds!
Of course there's also the You've fought X battles! message which likely goes up to a ridiculous amount of fights as usual. What message are you guys up to?
