For those who have not noticed the changes yet, Miiverse has received a new update, which will affect how you can make posts for Smash 3DS.
If you do not own a New Nintendo 3DS system, you won't be able to make Play Journal entries for this game. You can still post drawings and make discussions, however. Just be aware that you'll only be able to make up to 30 posts per day.
In-game postings are not affected by any of this, so you can still use the Snapshot Sharing Community to post any new snapshots that you've taken during a match.
