mii's in smash bros for the wiiu

Recently I have been hearing people making jokes that the mii character will be in the next smash bros game. My question is why? I can safely confirm it isn't for these reason.
1. nobody requested the mii character
2. mii's don't have anything fighting related to bring to smash bros.
3. the only reasons why the wii fit trainer was in was because it was unexpected. People are already speculating that the mii characters are going to be on, so that isn't possible. The other reason was because her yoga positions look like fighting postures and she looks like a good character to build on.
4. Anything the mii's can do, the villiger can already to and better.

so don't worry, sakurai won't make the next smash bros game have the miis, because it just seems illogical.

1. People actually want Miis. So people do request them.
2. Wii Sports Resort shows Miis practicing kendo. Wii Sports has a boxing game. Miis are in Mario Kart and are playable in other Mario games. Plus, they have access to a large amount of options from their many games. (Land mines are also there)
3. Not bothering with this.
4. Nope. This is subjective and Sakurai could easily make them better if he wanted to. Plus Miis do things Villager doesn't even do.

1. There are a lot actually. Look around Miiverse, GameFAQs and even here.
2. Neither did Villager, Wii Fit Trainer, . They still got it.
3. That wasn't the only reason Wii Fit Trainer got in. Don't assume things.
4. Not everything. It wouldn't make sense for the Villager to use a cow, sword, sports equipment, etc.

1. The Mii is actually a rather popular character, you'll see it's popular on several sites.
2. Several characters didn't have anything fighter related. Captain Falcon was turned into a superhuman with fire attacks, all Starfox characters were given weapons and powers based on abilities that could be used by ships in the Starfox series, and the Ice Climbers were given ice powers.
The Mii could easily use things such as tennis rackets or bowling balls in it's moveset.

3. Not true. WFT had good potential as well. And Wii Fit is one of the best selling Wii games. You didn't really take much into consideration here.
4. They Miis can easily be different using things from Wii Sports, Wii Play etc.

Well, this was pointless.


1. Lots of people want them.
2. Check Wii Sports, Wii Play, Wii Sports Resort, Mario Kart Wii, etc.
3. You lost me, honestly, by saying "she was unexpected so because people expect this certain character they won't get in." and introducing that flawed logic. And Miis can look good to build on, as well.
4. Can Villager use a tennis racket? Sword? Ride a cow? Play music? Drive a go-kart? Store it's friends in a Wiimote? Gain a chicken suit and glide across the sky? Use a jetpack?

Nope. Miis can, though.

1. I think the Mii is rather requested and it's incredibly popular to the casuals. It's also pretty iconic too.
2. They can use various items and abilities from Wii Sports, Wii Play, Wii Fit, and Wii Party. You can make a whole moveset based on that. Besides, some characters, like Captain Falcon, had nothing to really work with and they are in SSB with a moveset.
3. Yes, the Wii Fit Trainer was un-expected. Just because a character is expected or wanted doesn't mean that they won't get in. Also, the other reason is irrelevant in this argument.
4. Look at number 2. While the moveset could involve just taking out random objects from god-knows-where like the Villager, that doesn't mean the Mii wouldn't be unique regardless since there is so much to work with.

I am unsure if the Miis are going to be in it or not, I'm mostly thinking not however. But, you'll never know and Sakurai denied the Villager before like he did with the Mii and now the Villager is in the game. So, the same can happen with the Mii.
