So far Nintendo has yet to use miis for that many games other then wii sports, wii play, and some appearances in Wario ware smooth moves. I am not sure I think that they will use either miis in Brawl in one of two ways.
1. They will use it as a custom character but all miis will have the same attacks.
2. It will be used as an Icon like in Melee where you put in your nickname at the bottom so while playing you know which person is you.
Just a thought.
