Mii/Animal Crossing observation

We have several topics depicting whether or not we will have an Animal Crossing representative, or if the logo really means anything... and we also have a topic dedicated to Mii's in Brawl, but I came up with a solution (and I hope no one else came up with it.)

Most of us already know that the Mii designer is none other than the man in charge of Animal Crossing, and since there will be an Animal Crossing game coming sometime on the Wii, there is a chance that our Mii's will replace the standard boys and girls (I mean, it's just a guess.)

So, what better than to incorporate Mii's and Animal Crossing together? Odds are we won't have any news about the new Animal Crossing game for awhile, but I think it's safe for Sakurai to hold off on the representative for Animal Crossing until it nears toward the release date.

I wanted to create this topic because it kind of brings everything together, and could serve as a good discussion topic. Mii's will likely take our face and put it on a body much like an Animal Crossing character, just as other games (such as WarioWare) have done other things with our Mii body's, such as turning them into angels but still keeping the same head.

I imagine something like that could work. But seeing how AC characters really have no fighting moves to base off of their games other than through the violent use of tools like the axe, shovel, sling shot, etc... it's hard for me to imagine them being playable fighters. But who knows? Sakurai has a deviant mind, he could probably whip something somewhat-logical up.

I've always imagined the Miis being the next Wire Frames, but if sakurai can cook up something better, that's fine too.

I think it's safe to say that the Primid will serve in the place of Wire Frames, or Fighting Polygon Team, but that's just my opinion. The Mii's aren't evil.

I must say that I think our Mii's as an Animal Crossing character could easily have some unique moves. Calling upon a swarm of bee's as a Final Smash seems suitable, and since Link isn't sporting his slingshot, that's quite a safe choice for our Mii. I also think balloons could be a good recovery move, and eventually it shall pop after being used for a short time. The golden shovel, of course could be used to bury your opponent, leaving them trapped underground until they could dig themselves out, and we can't forget about the bug-catching net, which could catch players and could then be used to throw them in any direction the player would choose.

I think the possibilities are endless. Animal Crossing and Animal Crossing: Wild World are deep games.

Animal Crossing wont have an representitive. Trust me, they just wont.

The music was for the stage.

Its a simple stage, dont just jump to conclusions that "Oh, a stage? I guess -insert series name with character- is a shoe-in." You need to actually think about it.

I like the Animal Crossing character's forms and faces. They are fine the way they are. I don't really like the way Miis look, to be honest I would be disappointed if they replaced the standard AC human in AC Wii.

I didn't jump any gun, I'm not for sure whether or not we'll get an Animal Crossing representative, I'm just saying anything is possible at this point.

Whoa now. You can't just say that there is no way an Animal Crossing rep isn't going to get in. I mean, everyone on this site but a few people thought is was the worst idea in the world to have Red in and that there would be no way he'd make it, but hey, everyone is eating their own words now. Plus this is a thread for discussing IF they were to get in. Plus you can't yell at people for supposing an Animal Crossing rep due to a stage and a song. I mean, in every other Smash game the levels were from playable characters' games, so it only makes sense.

I honestly think Mii's would be a dumb idea, just like Pichu was a waste of a character space.. >_>
As much as I hate the idea of a Mii being playable what you're saying is really stupid. You're comparing a character that could have a unique moveset with a character that didn't have one. >_>

Well guess what? That's something called an opinion.

Calling a character a waste of space I tend to think of as more objective then subjective, but maybe that's just me.

I agree. You can call someone a crappy character in your opinion, but wasted space is not true considering that there are people that use every character.

I agree 100% with this topic...I was actually in the process of finishing up my research why it would make sense to include the Miis as the AC rep...I'm just glad someone else realizes the possibility of the Miis :D. Just because they look dumb in Wii Sports doesn't mean they will be in that same exact style in Brawl. Miis as the AC rep would kill two birds with one stone ^^;;. I think they would have a general moveset like mentioned before.
