Midnight Release Plans?

My local GameStop is having a Brawl tourney at 7:00PM EST. I would just have to double check. Not sure if it will run till midnight though but I am definitely going to go.

upside, digital download is going up on the eshop at midnight so, that's always an option.

completely forgot about digital download. going live at midnight is all i need!

Oh. i thought you meant digital copy. i honestly have no idea about getting a physical copy, you should check your Gamestop and ask or call them. When i meant 9:00 PST and 12:00 EST, i meant the digital copy

Unfortunately my gamestop isn't having a midnight release T^T But, on the day of release I'm grabbing my camera and walking there while vlogging right when it opens! Should be fun!

I would honestly recommend ether pre ordering it (I love physical copies) or if you can't, just get it on the eshop the time it comes out and once you get back home it'll be downloaded.

To answer the release time question, the e-Shop typically adheres to midnight for the entire USA, usually going off of EST. However it is not unheard of for it to go off of PST. The Mario Kart 8 DLC released at around 12 PST / 3 EST, for example.
