microsoft avi to wii converter

hers the deal i have a web cam but when i set a capture on a sd card it loads on my wii but it is an unkown format can anyone help
the format is called microsoft avi
does anyone know of a converter that will work

Hmmm... the Wii website says that the Photo channel accepts AVI. It shouldn't be an unknown type.

Try saving the files as a Quicktime file (.MOV). That may work instead.

That or those particular files got malformed somehow. Try opening them on your computer.
