**** please realize that smash is P2P (peer to peer) meaning that that connection quality depends on your connection to the other person ****
2 people close to each other with low ping will have much less lag to better resemble local matches.
In fighting games this is very important - hence why smash tournaments use old CRT TVs. You can cut down multiple frames of lag by playing with people close to u online.

Plus u can play on whatever stage u want with custom rules... If we got a lot of people to share online info in michigan you could just create a room and someone could see it and join like other online games.

Not only am I looking for less lag but for some decent players as welI. I win most of my for glory matches and i don't really have fun unless I'm playing someone who can beat me. So if any of you out there feel the same put up your ID for some matches. I work 10pm thru 6am so I play in mornings or evenings.
