Mewtwo freezing.

using AGFanProduction's Mewtwo Model/PSA/Texture hack I replaced Lucario with Mewtwo.


The problem? Well I use brawlbox to edit my SC_SELCHARACTER.PAC and fix the Character Select Icon and Character Select Portrait(CSP) to Mewtwo and everything seems fine, but when I go in-game and scroll over his name, the game freezes up with this annoying RRRRRRRRRRRRRR sound.


Now I use ASF1nk's custom SC_SELCHARACTER.PAC (http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m202/antjor_s38/Textures Thumbnails/CSSRB250.png) And I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it.

I can't say I know too much about this. Well, does it freeze when not altering the character icon and portrait? If not then possibly the pictures you are using to replace the icon and portrait might be the wrong kind of file or wrong size, but thats probably not the case because if it was I don't think Brawlbox would have even accepted the picture to begin with. But yeah the character select portrait has to be 128x160, don't know about the icon size.

And I don't think ASF1nk's CSS has anything to do with anything unless there are codes that go with his css, which means you could be missing one of the codes.

Hmm... what codes do you have on for this?

I have tried replacing them, and I have the ''Everything'' .gct file off ASF1nk's download thread.

Have you tried using the regular character select screen with no modifications (including csp's and character icons) except for the replacement of Lucario for Mewto? What happens and if it still does, then it's either because you placed Mewto in a folder other than Lucario folder, named the file wrong, or both. Im sure there are other reasons but I personally don't know any more than the reasons I listed...
