Metroid Prime Hunters HELP!!!

Well, to tell you the truth, i've never asked for help on a metroid game, but i'm having some trouble right now. This really sucks.

My problem has to do with the eighth octolith. Where would it be? From what i hear, one of the bounty hunters has it. But i've killed each of them at least twice and i've found nothing.

If it helps, the octolith i'm missing is the one in the bottom left on the pause menu and it has a red dot on the bottom of the grey plate. I'm not sure if it has to do with which hunter i need to kill or which place i have to be at the time.

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

I'd suggest Gamefaqs. Most of the guides are thorough and intelligent, though I can't say the same thing about their forums.
