A while ago I bought a used copy of Metroid Prime at Gamestop for $5, in great condition. So I bring it home and play it, and it's awesome. Then I want to unlock the original NES Metroid on it, but it says you must link a completed Metroid Fusion game to get it. No problem, I thought. I'll just buy an Action Replay. I needed one anyway. So I buy a GCN Action Replay, and to my delight, it has preloaded Metroid Prime codes that I could use. So I checked off that I wanted the NES Metroid, and I go into the game and couldn't get it. Huh. I thought that maybe I had a different version of the game, so I tried the codes for Metroid Prime 'v. 1.1' instead. Didn't work.
My question is, why isn't it working? The AR works with all my other games, but why won't it work to get me the NES Metroid?
