Metroid Prime 3 Stage? *contains minor spoilers*

I see no threads for this, so, I decided to make one

I think there should be a Metroid Prime 3: Corruption stage.

I've played/beaten the game and here are some of the choises I thought of:

Norion

Generator "C"

Bryyo

Fire Temple(where you fight Rundas)
Main Landing Spot

Skytown, Elysia

Xonoresearch Lab
A.U. unit Room
Main Landing Spot(where you fight Ghor)
Spire Dock

Pirate Homeworld

Main Room(forget what it's called, right where you encounter the Acid Rain
The Room where you get Nova Beam(with the mining system)
The room where you fight Gandraya

G.F.S. Valhalla

Outside The Valhalla
Main Room(where the metroids first are, and miniroids second are)
A.U. unit room

Phaaz

Where you fight Dark Samus and A.U. unit 313

Thoughts, Ideas, Comments?

Edit: personally, my favorite one is Fire Temple.

It doesnt matter which one, but the Shaft Idea would be very wierd.

Think about it, you'd constantly be falling and it isnt a very big stage. Also, how would ou be K.O.'d?

I've thought some kind of Prime stage would be excellent, but also consider that there are other Prime Games. I'd be stoked if there were a Phendrana Drifts level. I can also say without fear that Sanctuary Fortress from Prime 2 would also be perfect for a stage, what with the fact that it has platforms suspended over midair. In particular, the area between the Fortress Temple and the place where you fight the Spider Guardian seems like a great idea. You have three platforms that can't be passed through at different levels, but none of them are on top of another. This makes for a relatively large level not unlike Green Greens, except minus the wind, and plus repair drones that act like Shy Guys from Yoshi's Story. Whatever they do, people need to know that there's so much more to Metroid than lava/acid.

I would love a prime stage but I don't see it happening. First very few places would transfer over well to a 2D fighting game. For example almost most of the stages you said are large, flat circular rooms, but seeing as Brawl only has two dimensions it would just be a big flat stage with no real reason for being there (other than looking cool). Also as PIT IS BACK mentions Metroid is not that popular in Japan, and the Prime series was made in America so that lessens the chance of a stage. Lastly there are 3 Prime games and in my opinoin if there is a stage it will be based of Prime 1.

Sakurai hates the Metroid Prime series. I doubt we'll get much from it other than trophies and teh Phazon Suit alt. color.

oh come on, how could they not put in one prime stage. Even if it's from Prime 1(which is impossible) they HAVE to put in a Prime stage, it is practically required. But, I guess you have a point, on the other hand, didnt they allreaddy announce Norfair? hmmmm? there were two metroid stages in Melee, they've only done one. I think there IS going to be a Prime stage and also(i dought it) but hopefully a Fusion Stage. That'd be nice. Also a stage from Origonal, when you fight Mother Brain(or for some of you, maybe you're more familliar with Zero Mission) but now I'm getting off track from the Prime series.

But I seriously think there will be a Prime stage.

Edit: another thing, I pretty much said the shaft on my origonal post, it was Generato "C" remember

I wish I could believe that, but Sakurai does call all of the shots, and he doesn't have to put it in if he doesn't want to, and he probably doesn't.

it would be a major diapointment to SO many people. He MUST! If he's putting in Sonic then he better put in all of the nintendo characters. It's like not having a Hyrule Castle/Temple or Pokemon Stadium or Mushroom Kingdom. It HAS to be in! It just HAS to, also, why would Sakurai hate Prime series, jus' wondering?

If you look at the map, there's actually two rooms. Generator C, then Generator Shaft.

Japanese people enjoy cartoony effects(Wind Waker) and casual games(Wii Sports and Nintendogs) a lot more than realistic like games such as Prime and Halo.

Of course, this is a stereotype.

It's more like the Japanese have a distaste for guns. Halo would be especially problematic, because it puts you in the shoes of someone firing a gun. I think it's part of the reason Miyamoto marketed the Prime series as a First Person Adventure, because the wording dissociates the game from the beam cannon mounted on Samus' arm. Of course, the Japanese saw through the name, and the rest of the world was just confused by it. Nevertheless, Prime wasn't focused on the adventure aspect than the shooting, so I think it definitely deserves consideration, especially since Corruption is by far the best Metroid game ever, in my opinion.

But I'm not Sakurai, and Sakurai hates the Prime series, so I guess that's that.
