Metro Detroit Project M Tournament

Hello all! My name is Justin. I am the Store Manager of Play N Trade in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. (Almost) every other week, we've been hosting a Project M Tournament. I am starting this thread specifically to get some real-world tips and pointers from the community, advertise our upcoming events (of course) and to simply have a spot for Smash discussions from the perspective of players from the Metro Detroit area.
I will be posting info on all of our up coming events here, and I hope other hosts will post their event info as well.

Our next tourney is on Friday, August 1st @ 5:00 PM. It is Double elimination. Standard Project M rules. The cost is $5.00 Per person. If you bring four or more paid entries with you, your entrance fee is waived. The Grand Prize will be a copy of the new Smash Bros 3DS waiting for you here on launch day. Second and Third Place prizes depend on overall turn out. You can register at any time (in store only) but we do encourage everyone to register at lest one day ahead of time.

I would come but i can't get there in time it's a 3 hour drive and i got to do things this week but i'll make sure to get there next tournament.
