Seconds
...minutes
........hours
I'm still breathing
The earth moved a little

Listen, and observe his art
Harmonies...
Echoes from behind the keys
Rhythms...
Soft flesh upon cold ivory
Melodies...
Hear the voice of the soul
Music...
A piano with no hammers
A voice with no sound
The pianist waits silently
The pianist takes his leave
