Metal Gear on the Virtual Console?

With the release of SSBB, and how popular Snake is as a player online, do you think Nintendo would put the original two Metal Gears on the Virtual Console? I think it would be a good move on Nintendo's part seeing how they mention stuff from the Metal Gears 1 and 2 on Brawl, so maybe they could put them on their shopping list.

Because Hideo Kojima is the end-all, be-all of gaming...

In other words, I'd love to see the original Metal Gears on the VC. Actually, there's a pile of games I'd love to see on the VC; instead, we get junk like Bases Loaded.
