Metaknight Help

How do I beat a Metaknight that uses up b tornado and down smash ONLY?


ONLY!

It's a lot more annoying than you might think

Oh man, my friend mains metaknight and this is exactly how he plays.

Sadly the tornado is a really tough move to go up against, if he's chasing you into the air with it you just need to time your air dodges but you won't always make it through if he is good at predicting your dodges. Other than that the best thing to do is when you see it coming quick attack away from it as fast as you can and space yourself, also don't get frustrated by the b spam, if you do it will just throw off your game.

As for the down smashes I've noticed spot dodging is an amazing way to get around them. If he's spam happy you can just spot dodge one or two then roll out or if you're quick enough spot dodge to dsmash.

Jump above and dair the tornado, MK is weak from above.


Also, I think fsmash could knock him out of it.

If those are the only moves he uses, it really shouldn't be that hard to realize that and then just not get hit by them.

That just doesn't seem like it would be a problem to me. MK isn't really a spam character, and his whorenado is easy enough to punish.

idk, i just got destroyed by one at a tourney yesturday and dairing the whorenado didnt even come to mind. Then there's always that up b and down smash I need to watch out for. maybe im just a bad pikachu player

Can anyone help me with is forward B? Agh! This one guy distroys me! The tornado is a easy dodge because I jump and thundershoch(B) the top of him

Yeah but normally its timed that I cant dodge or they are across stage and Im using B and their Over B cancels my attack. Ill try DSmash though

another thing i would try is to DI up and out of it. see if that helps.
