Is it just me, or does it seem like the news of Olimar may be the start of an avalance of spoilers due to Japan getting their copies before we do and thereby sending out spoilers anyway? I mean, Sakurai must know that news will be spread quickly, so what better time to start announcing the new arrivals to Brawl than the present?


Or I could be completely wrong + a moron. It's happened before.

Hmm. Well I did consider the 5 STAGES IN ONE DAY update pretty big. Even if they're returning. The muli-man melee online seemed pretty big as well. Captain Olimar was the perfect thing to bring back all the hype. I knew this was going to happen sooner or later. So I do think the floodgates are open. Hoping for Olimar Moveset tomorrow.

I remember hearing at one point that with Melee, Sakurai wanted to announce the final roster himself so people wouldn't hear about it for the first time from some one posting on the internet. I get the feeling Sakurai is gunna go on a spree of character announcements.

It's possible. You could say that since release is fast-approaching, and Sakurai knows we'll find everything out very quickly, he'll just go into an update frenzy with the Dojo and start announcing characters again over the next two weeks before release. It makes sense to renew the hype that was lost over the last few boring months, but I'm not getting my hopes up for it though. We all know how that usually turns out.

I'm predicting a double-update of Zelda Specials and Character Sheik soon. He's running out of time. There's too much not to update with and overload. Unless, of course, he waits until after Feb. 10th to put out the secret stuff.

I mean, Japanese people who have the game won't worry with coming to the Dojo like Feb. 4th to see what the Sonic stage is.

Who said anything about 54 character roster? I don't know how many will be in the game? I'm simply saying that since Japan will son have Brawl, there's a good chance that Mashiro "Midgames" Sakurai will start posting the big spoilers up before anyone else can.

I doubt the Japanese release dates means we'll get a character or a big update every day, we might get better updates, yes. but don't expect something that's ridiculous, you'll only be dissapointed.
