New to the forums, so to start with I thought I'd post something I finished just a little while ago, I've recently been going through a Zelda phase, and for some reason or another I wanted to see a slightly "grittier" Link.
Using the character art images from SSBB I managed create the sort of Link I'd probably enjoy most. Don't get me wrong, Link as a sword and shield wielder is fine but this is just something "different.
I call him Mercenary Link, mainly due to the body being Ike's originally (Who is part of a Mercenary group) I think the recolor turned out rather well, and the idea of a Great-sword Link is something I wouldn't have minded since "Fierce Deity" Link I believe is the only Link to use a 2-handed Sword in battle instead of a Sword & Shield.
