Our first tournament was December 21, 2013. Our initial interest to get into competitive Smash prompted us to start a tournament in Fayetteville. The tournament gave us many connections to interested new comers and many who have been playing for years. This 2nd tournament was bigger and attracted the same mix of skill levels that we had last time. Hopefully, it has helped to provide an environment to help refresh the Smash scenes in Arkansas and to educate many interested in competitive Smash in general. For this tournament, we doubled our setups and venue size due to the expressed interest of many from various cities in all over Arkansas. This was our first time to have Project M and Doubles in the tournament format. It's a learning process and so far things have been growing almost exponentially.
