melee peach's castle is still missing

Easy peasy. Go download it from brawl vault here (be sure to choose the version you want), download Mewtwo2000's ASL Tool. Put the ASL Tool in your codes folder, launch it, find stgkart, hit the plus button, go to edit, go to page 2, change the letter from A to Y (just to be consistent) and check off the box for "Z". Hit Apply, exit from that window, hit the "Stages ->" button. It should change to say "Modules". Find stgkart again and do the exact same thing.
Then rename the Peach's Castle .pac file to "stgkart_y" and put it in the "melee" folder inside your "stages" folder which is inside your "pf" folder which is inside your "projectm" folder (lol).
Now go here and choose "Base .rel" as Rainbow Cruise and "To replace" as "Mario Circuit". hit download and then add a "_Y" to the end of the file name and save it into your module folder inside your pf folder.
Now whenever you hold "Z" and select Bowser's Castle you'll get Peach's Castle! Personally I have Peach's Castle as my 3rd alt stage over the N64 Peach's Castle, but do whatever you want! Learn how to use the ASL Tool and you'll be addicted to adding stages all over the place in no time haha.

I'm not sure how to move around stages without winding up with some mixed up soundtracks (Saffron would have Spear Pillar's sound track, etc. but with the method I just gave you, you should be able to download pretty much any stage and place it over any slot or place it as an alternative to the stage in that slot. Just make sure you convert the .rel module file correctly and name it and the stage .pac files correctly as well.
It's probably a problem with your SD card if I had to guess. You may need to find a faster/different one. I've had it stall on me many times, but never give me errors. Are we talking the actual software? I'm guessing that you have it in your Codes folder on your SD card. If you'd like to speed things up, copy paste your Codes folder to your desktop (or anywhere off your SD card) THEN run the ASL Tool from that folder and just replace the .gct in the Codes folder on your SD card any time you make an edit.
