Melee on Monitor

Now I play Melee at a BenQ Gaming Monitor RL2455HM (24-Inch LED)

with a sewell wii2hdmi adapter wich works well (maybe i lose 1frame or something) The only thing i dont like is that i cant use whole screen besause i play in 4:3.
So i wonder is there any New 4:3 monitors out there anyone can recomend for Melee.

Any help is appreicated feel free to also talk about your own setup...

Your best bet is a CRT Monitor. They're in 4:3 and most of them can do 1600x1200 or more (at 60hz) which is more than the effective resolution you can get out of a full HD screen (1440x1080) besides being completely lagless. More info on how to get a crt monitor setup can be found here.
However, I don't see why not using the full screen would be a problem. The Wii can output in 480p at best so switching to a 1600x1200 display won't make a difference.
Alternatively, you can use a cheat code or use the 20XX hack pack to toggle 16:9 aspect ratio hack. I personally don't like the way it looks.

Thanks for responding i dont like the widescreen hack either. I think i will keep playing this way if i dont find monitor that is better suited for Melee. but the Benq is great!
