So the Wii U will not be compatible with GameCube discs. This makes me wonder if GameCube games will now become downloadable content. If so, how might that work out for melee if it was added? This seems likely it would be considered since melee was an extremely well selling game and smash64 was released in the virtual console too. Would Nintendo utilize the PAL version of the game or might they stick with the NSCT version. Maybe it would be regional based. How might controllers be used if the GameCube controller is incompatible with the Wii U. If a single standard version is released, might people eventually shift over to that one or stick the with millions of copies still sold for like $20 at your local gaming store.
