So a couple months ago I downloaded P:M on my softmodded Wii, and recently I made the switch from Wii to Dolphin so I could play on Anther's. Today, however, my brother came over and said he wanted to play me in P:M, so we decided to play on the Wii, but we're currently playing on one of the stupid new black Wiis that removed backwards compatibility with gamecube controllers/games, so I'm using a 4-port mayflash adapter. It was working fine on my Wii when I downloaded P:M a few months ago, but now my Wii refuses to receive any input from my adapter, we've tried changing from Wii to PC mode, swapped around the USB cables on the back, nothing works.

TL;DR: A few months ago my mayflash adapter was working on my Wii, now it isn't.

The Wii U adapter doesn't work for Wii games. There's no getting around it unless Nintendo updated the firmware to allow it.

Rather odd, I remember it working. Ah well, if it's not gonna work I may as well try to get my hands on a Wii with gamecube ports. Thanks for the clarification.
