This Wednesday "5/6/2015" we'll be hosting a small tournament for Smash 4 and Melee @ Reaction Games

Address: 3032 Mishawaka Ave, South Bend, IN 46615

Sign ups begin at 6pm, tournament will start around 7-7:30pm

We're trying to keep the tournament fairly small with 10-20 entrants for each, so if you plan on showing up, please RSVP here.

5$ entry fee

Prizes will be handed out accordingly:

1st: 60%
2nd: 30%
3rd: 10%

It's very short notice, yes I know, and that's why we're trying to keep the tournament pretty small. We actually plan on running bi-weekly tournaments on Sundays shortly after the conclusion of KishPrime's Michiana Smash League.

We will be running both tournaments at the same time.

There will also be 2 stations open for both Melee and Smash 4 friendlies. So it'll be like a normal Wednesday but with a tournament running alongside it.

RULES: "Copied from FC Return with minor changes, we won't be running doubles on Wednesday"

MELEE SINGLES "Double Elimination Bracket"

 4 stock, 8 Minute Time Limit

 Sets will be either best-of-3 or best-of-5 as time allows, announced prior to each stage

 Items OFF

 Team Attack ON

 Pause Disabled during Teams

 Ties after the time limit are determined by stocks remaining, then lower (total in teams) percentage. If the match ends with both players dying at the same time or if time runs out with both players at equal percent, a one-stock, three-minute rematch will be played on the same stage.

 Master Hand and Meta Knight are banned

 Continuing uninterruptible moves past 350% will result in a forfeit

 Being the most recent version, players may request to play on v1.2 if it is necessary.

Stage List:

Singles "Stages marked in an asterisk are starters, the ones that are not, are counter pick legal stages"

*Final Destination*

*Battlefield*

*Dream Land 64*

*Fountain of Dreams*

*Yoshi’s Story *

Pokémon Stadium

Rainbow Cruise

Jungle Japes

Corneria

Set Procedure:

1. To select the first stage, players strike from the 5 starter stages "FD, Battlefield, Dream Land 64, Yoshi Story, Fountain of Dreams"

2. After the first round in a best-of-3, the winning player may permanently ban one stage. If a best-
of-5, there are no bans. The losing player will then select a counter-stage from the remaining choices, then the winning player will select his character, then the losing player will select his character.

3. Play proceeds in this fashion until the set is complete.

4. A player may not select a stage he/she banned him/herself. No stage may be played twice, unless both players agree.

5. Both players can agree on playing any legal stage, at any time.
