That's A Stock was the last tournament series for Smash 4 / Melee that we're hosting at Salty Joystiq Gaming Lounge. Now that our Events are taking place on Fridays we want to give people more of a reason to come out to our events. "The Road to Winners" is a Tournament series geared toward South Jersey Melee / Smash 4 players looking to win more than just a weekly tournament. It's for players looking to prove their talent in our region. Players will come in and register for their tournament game and play through bracket as usual, however at the end of the bracket pot money isn't the only prize. We have implemented a point system to the Top 4 winners of each bracket regardless of who gets paid out. These points are used to qualify for a tournament that will be held over the summer for the players with the most points. The Top 12 players in Melee and the Top 12 players in Smash 4 with the most points at the end of the season will qualify, but we will leave it up to the community for vote in the last 3 players in each game for a 15 man bracket. The event for the qualified players will have a pot bonus from Salty Joystiq as well as other sponsors for each game! Now lets get into the rules and regulations for this weekly event.
