Match-up discussion week 33: Captain Farukon

Trying to finish everything this week, here is Captain Falcon.
Not much discussion is needed, we camp him all day, we CG->spike him when he's not careful, aka easy mode.

I played quite a good Falcon in my national tourney in July, but both matches were pretty much three stocks, because there doesn't seem to be much he can do against Falco's lasers (aka camp game): they stop all sorts of approaches, and gay tactics (lasers and phantasm) works wonders. Most of Falco's moves have more priority as well, so even close combat is easy for him. The chaingrab wrecks Falcon. If you follow it by a spike, Falco can simply edgehog Cap and let him die.

Falcon does have some decent jab followups, and a few things to help him out a bit, but the matchup is still horrible with him.

Don't know but I remember the discussion though.

I remember 55:45 or 60:40 for Falco being the general conclusion though.

Having 35 different discussions means we didn't skip anything. (week 33, week 34, week 35 are compromised)

I don't mind doing a rediscussion next week though.

I want to discuss only S/A-tiers for weeks, they always have something new to be discussing.

Captain falcon has strong moves with good speed and he has good attack range,
and is the second fastest running character.

Falco could use his Side B to keep him off balance and his attacks have better priority and speed.
