So, I'm a new*** on this site. Tomorrow or the day after tomorrow I'm gonna install Homebrew on my friends wii. And after that I think I have to pop in my 2gb SD with Masterlinkx brawl hax or something right? I need help on where to put the files.

Do you need help installing homebrew, or putting files in Brawl?
You can actually use Brawl hacks without installing homebrew. You can get most of the famous "modsets" this way:
Brawl+ http://www.smashmods.com/forum/page/bpdownload.html (click on Pre-made SD pack installer for Brawl+ without Homebrew users)
Balanced Brawl http://balancedbrawl.net/downloads-instructions/ (click on Download for NTSC-U (American))

By the way, what is Masterlinkx brawl hax? I've never heard of it.

What I think he means is that he's gonna install the MASTERLINKX hack package.

Right, I'm gonna install MASTERLINKX's hack package. libertyernie, yesterday I just installed Homebrew. And I just need help putting/where to place the files on the SD card, like Gecko, brtsm(did i spell that right??)

Helped a little, but all the files are in place. On the SD where do I place the icons and everything or do I put them in the folder named private and or deeper into the private folder?
