Master Hand is Hosting a Tournament!

We'd like to extend an invitation to all of you here at SmashBoards to join us for a heck of a fun stream next weekend! Details in the video.

For those who can't be bothered to read the description of the video or watch it, here's a summary from the video itself: (I'm not involved with the tournament, by the way, I just thought it would be nice to post this)

The tourney will be double elimination and only on Wii U. Every round is two out of three and custom movesets/Mii Fighters are banned. The first night will be the most of the tourney, with the finals streamed on the second night with commentary from Master Hand and his lackeys. Both nights will begin at 6 PM EST. You will be expected to get in touch with your opponent (no worries, we will show you the bracket as things progress so you can speak with them). No shows after fifteen minutes will be disqualified. We will play the last few rounds of the finals and losers brackets live on day 2.

The grand finalist will receive a Metal Mario amiibo, while another participant (I couldn't tell who from the video. Maybe second place?) will receive a Toad amiibo.

And If The winner wins. Can he pick eshop credit instead? Like 20$? If so whats the max someone can choose for eshop card?

yep! The twitch chat will be the main communications line during both events. We're not really allowing eshop trade-ups, though.

@ ChallengerApproachingTV I apologize for this, but I won't be able to participate in this tourney as it turns out I won't have access to my Wii U for the rest of the day. I'll still attend the event as a spectator, but not as a participant. Sorry.
