I belive I figured out the true beginning of the smash universe and help fix some questions
It all starts not from smash 64 but from the final boss of eartbound, in the final battle the forces of good and pureness were so overwhelming to Giygas that he was erased from the dimesion he was in, but not totally gone, a little bit of Goygas remains, the last part of his shattered mind, even though he is only an incomplete remnant he still holds amazing power
Giygas still remains but now in a dimension of emptiness, his mind is still sensitive and incomplete and volatile, the intense loneliness from his isolation makes him use his phycic powers to create vessels of characters from other dimensions, including the one person that defeated him (why do you think Ness got into smash 64) and use them to communicate (this is CPUs work, there vessals of Giygas)
His biggest mistake came when he gave the vessals their own free will (The Player Character) when they weren't controlled as all they did was fight each other for dominance, in retaliation Giygas created what we know as the Polygon Team, the Polygon Team unlike the fighters dont have free will and instead follow their creator, after their vanquishing Giygas then uses his power to turn himself into his own vessel, Master Hand, but that vessal failed and Giygas was sent into the cosmos of Final Destination with his vessal separated
Enranged and confused on why his creations would of fight him, his rage became too much for him to handle and he split the Hand into two forms the master of creation Master Hand and the god of destruction Crazy Hand, these two vessals share a single bond due to being one from the same creator and so they teamed up to bring order to the Smash Universe, even using their powers to bring more vessels as well as augment then (such as when they created Giga Bowser), however this companion ship has mad ethe two hands develop a sense of free will and the wating to create a new order so they use their powers of creation and destruction to remove giygas from power
Giygas however isnt gone and he uses his creation powers to absorb Crazy Hand into himself, this power imbalance causes great instability inside Giygas, so unstable that he begins to reincarnated himself as a figure of blue light, Tabuu, as punishment for his betrayal Tabuu puppeteer Master Hand and uses his off beams to freeze everyone and everything into subspace so that there can be order with no actions, of course the smashers spirits help overwhelm Tabuu and his spirit comes out and Crazy Hand comes free as well (explaining Crazy's lack of apperance in the Emissary)
Master and Crazy reunite and they both have their own jobs, Crazy organized the brawls in the smash verse and Master keeps order into the many sectors of the smash verse to handle the order of the many locations at once, however the wounds in Master from being controlled by Tabuu begin to continue developing and eventually his strain is too much and he develops into Master Core, the only way he could be save is if the smashers destroy Tabuu's control point in master fortress and Master Hand is saved from this fate but remnants of the swarm fly into the cosmos
Deep in the cosmos between dimension the remains of the swarm and tabuu begin to feud, just like how their progenitors fought, eventually the remains of tabuu adored the light of the Cosmos becoming Galeem and the Swarm absorbs the shadows of the Cosmos becoming Dharkon and they each use their superior powers of creation to subjugate the Hands and the spirits, Galeem takes control of its first creation and Dharkon takes control of his first creation and they fight over the world of spirits
Soon the hands escape from their control and they realese the spirits with the creatures their enemies only though as pawns, eventually both hands decide to create a new universe without other influences, that world is that gameplay of ultimate, combine the creation of Master and the carnage of Crazy it's a culmination of all the work these two creatures went through
