So I downloaded a marth skin for 20xx and part of the skin was a change in the sword trail colour. However when making my own skin i couldn't find the texture related to the sword trail or how to change it. If anyone could help that would be great.

Request Marth Sword Swing Colours

They're not textures. You need to add a code to your game to enable them. The code and how it all works is explained here. And this thread might help too, so you can follow along with someone else who added them.
This should really be posted in one of the existing threads on sword trails though btw (so I'll delete this after a while to help reduce clutter).
