We all know spacing is the most important skill for a Marth player. How does one practice spacing? For example, is there a way to practice spacing fairs in a combo so every fair hits perfectly which leads to a Dair spike?

If you fair a bomb-omb and don't get hit you tipped it. You can screw around w/ low level cpus but a lot of its character/DI dependent.

Cool thanks for the reply, how do I practice on bomb-omb's? Do I have to have another player throw them at me or is there a way I can practice alone?

Swiping at bob-ombs seems pointless. Yeah, you can hit a bomb without dying, but so what? You have good spacing... against an inanimate object. Congradulations.

I would suggest comboing lvl 4s. They have the least ********/broken DI out of all the cpu levels, and being able to consistently 0-death them is good for your game. Don't get into any habits, though. Doing the same combo over and over might be effective against a cpu, but a human will grow wise.

I'd suggest doing both. Being good against inanimate objects is important, when people attack with ground moves they don't usually move at the same time.

Also yeah, repeat the same combos again and again so that you never mess up when the time comes and the DI allows you to pull it off.
