Marth Space Animal Chaingrab Question

First off sorry for not posting in the Marth specific forum, it's very inactive. Anyways, I have a question regarding the chaingrab Marth has on space animals. When grabbing, specifically on pivot grabs and standing grabs, will attempting to jump-cancel those grabs affect the chaingrab? I haven't looked at the frame data but it seems like in theory attempting to jump-cancel should slow down your grab by 1 frame at the least while Marth is in jumpsquat. Thanks so much!

I remember seeing this flowchart against fox a long while back. Don't think that's the original post and don't know where it came from. @Kadano probably has something better in his guide.

How I understand it is that if you are 100% consistent with pivot grabs, doing a JC grab is unnecessary and adds like a frame or 2 of lag, but doing JC grabs with the pivots can save you from messing up and doing a dash grab.

True, thankfully you have enough time to do several things and still make it work
