Marth=H4x (SHOW ME PROOF)

I'm sick of all this marth is the best char blah blah blah. I have yet to see a nasty marth player on "video" tear through a good snake, wolf, falco, toon link, and metaknight. Show me anyone who can consistantly beat all those characters against a person who mains them then ill believe all this marth is god bs.

Go play Ken, M2k, or Azen then beat them while they are Marth and say that he isn't that good.

At a hands of a skilled player, Marth can be VERY dangerous. This has been proven in Melee by Ken, M2k, Azen and a few others. I don't expect anything less in Brawl. Hell, I wouldn't be surprise if a Marth player wins a major tournament.

Not the best character in the game, true. But you have to think here... in Melee, wasn't Marth the one who was constantly destroying Foxes and Falcos which were agueably the two best characters in the game, tier wise?

Anyways, we have yet to see an amazing Marth player, but that doesn't mean that they're not out there.

The fighter is only as good as the person controlling him/her.

Anyone who stated Marth is the best character can enjoy their time three stocking level nines, until they realize the horrors of what the human brain is like as an opponent.

Perhaps you should be facing this thread towards individuals who state Marth is the best, rather than making all Marth users seem this cocky...

He's balanced.. thats all I know. I've seen it get beaten here and there, I've seen it beat others. I'm talking about real good players here.. he's not better than others.

Yeah, and did it take 3 weeks for people to realize that Marth was an insane character in Melee? I don't think so. It's too early to say that he isn't as good as his Melee counter-part, even though I don't think it will happen.But just give people enough time to work on him and then you'll see what he's capable of.

As I said, it's too early to determine which characters are going to be broken or what not. We can't really say that Marth is godly either until we see what he's capable of in the near future. From what I've seen from local tournaments so far, Marth is one of the best characters in the game. I'm not using Marth's Melee legacy as proof. I am saying that in Melee, it took people alot more than 3 weeks to fully understand how Marth works. Now we need this time to get use to the game's new physics, and until then we can't say that Marth is broken, nor can you say he's not.
