Ironic isn't it? Marth was the one doing all the chain grabbing to Falco in Melee. Now Falco's getting revenge for all those chain grabs. As for the seemingly inescapable chain grabs... The best thing you can do is avoid getting grabbed in the first place. I have yet to find a way to escape because most of the people I play with don't even know chain grabs exist in the game... lol.

I use the ice climbers a lot in Brawl, so I can tell you from experience that they have some inescapable chain grabs. Your best bet would be to dodge instead of shield their attacks and use Fairs and Nairs to space yourself away from them so they can't easily get close to you.

Depending on which chain grabs your friends do, you have a few options. If they do the dthrow -> fair chain throw, be ready to tech out of the way if they grab you when you are over 25% damage. If they use just the plain dthrow combo, then try to DI in different directions after each grab to make it harder for them if they are a split second late. If they use the inescapable back throw or Fthrow combo, then you just have to hope they mess up.

i found the easiest way to di out of a falco chain grab was up and randomly toward and away from him, though usually when you get out of it falco will usually follow with a fsmash instead.

Falco can't chaingrab Marth if you DI right.
You can DI away and jab or Up+B, or you can DI up and in towards him and jump to footstool him and get out of the way.

Thats all I know about that matchup.
